Personal Training

What is it?

Personal Training at Fusion is individualized fitness coaching built around your health, fitness level, lifestyle, and goals. Whether you want to build strength, improve flexibility, learn proper exercise technique, increase confidence, or create a routine you can actually stick with, your trainer will meet you where you are and help you progress at a pace that feels right for you.

Sessions focus on functional movement, proper form, and exercises that support both everyday life and your long-term fitness goals. We typically begin with low- to moderate-intensity work and gradually introduce more challenging exercises as your strength, coordination, and confidence develop.

Personal Training is not about pushing you to your absolute limit every session. It’s about learning how to move well, building strength and fitness safely, and creating sustainable progress through consistent practice.

Regular sessions are recommended for the best results. Please come dressed appropriately for exercise.

What to Expect

Each session is built around your individual goals, fitness level, and how your body is feeling that day. Your trainer will guide you through a purposeful workout with a little more intensity than a Corrective Exercise session, while still keeping the focus on proper form, controlled movement, and safe progression.

Sessions may include a combination of strength training, functional movements, mobility work, cardiovascular conditioning, core exercises, balance, and flexibility work. Your trainer will adjust exercises, resistance, repetitions, and intensity as needed so you are challenged without being pushed beyond what is appropriate for you.

You can expect coaching throughout the session, including form corrections, encouragement, and modifications when needed. As you become stronger and more confident, your workouts can gradually progress with you.

Personal Training should feel challengingβ€”but not punishing. The goal is to leave feeling like you accomplished something while building the strength, fitness, and confidence to keep progressing.

What is the difference between Corrective Exercise and Personal Training?

Corrective Exercise focuses primarily on improving how your body movesβ€”addressing mobility, stability, posture, muscle imbalances, and movement patterns through lower-intensity, targeted exercises.

Β

Personal Training takes that foundation and builds on it with more strength, conditioning, functional movement, and progressive challenges.

Β

Both are personalized to you; the biggest difference is the primary goal and intensity of the session.
