Cupping Therapy
What is it?
Cupping Therapy is a modern adaptation of an ancient bodywork practice that uses gentle suction to lift and decompress the skin and underlying tissues. Plastic cups create a controlled pulling sensation that may help increase local circulation, reduce feelings of muscle tension, and encourage mobility in areas that feel tight or restricted.
Your session will be customized to your needs. Cups may be placed and left in one area, slowly moved along the muscles, or combined with traditional massage techniques to create a more comprehensive treatment.
Cupping can leave temporary circular marks or discoloration on the skin. These marks are a normal response to the suction and typically fade within several days.
For added comfort, your session includes optional soothing CBD oil at no additional cost.

What to Expect
IMPORTANT: TEMPORARY MARKS ARE NORMAL!
Cupping can leave circular red, pink, or purple marks on the skin. THESE ARE NOT BRUISES. They are a normal response to the suction created by the cups and typically fade within several days, but can occasionally last up to two weeks. The intensity and duration of the marks varies from person to person.
This session is primarily focused on cupping, with minimal massage included. If you would prefer a session that is mostly traditional massage with cupping focused on one specific area, please book a Therapeutic Massage + Cupping instead.
During your session, you may feel a pulling, stretching, or tight sensation as the cups create suction. Most clients find the sensation comfortable and relieving, but your therapist will adjust the suction as needed.
Cups may be left stationary in specific areas, moved slowly along the muscles, or used in combination with brief massage techniques depending on your goals.
After your session, you’ll receive a simple cupping “cheat sheet” with tips for caring for the treated areas and supporting your comfort while the temporary marks fade.
